My team’s baseball coach asked us if we knew anybody that could make a website for the team. Our coach thought it would be neat to create a site for team stats. Coach Larry wanted a site that would be fully animated and that would really show off how great our team is. I new how to make sites, but really didn’t want to volunteer to do extra work. Unfortunately my friend Jack decided to blurt out, “Chris knows how to build websites”. This of course led to me having to make the team’s web site.
I knew cheap coach Larry wouldn’t want to pay for a web site or seo services, so I decided to start looking for free sites that I could use. Using local Minneapolis seo company I’d be able to cut down on seo costs. I found some great blogging platforms, and built a site using Blogger. After showing the site to coach Larry I was kind of embarrassed. He didn’t want to offend me so he said it was good, but I could see in his eyes that he was not satisfied. I quickly let him know that this was just a temporary website and that the real thing would be built before the end of the month.
I went back to the drawing board to think about what kind of platform I could use to make a great site. After searching around the Internet I decided that the best way for me to make a great web site would be for me to use flash. I’d be able to add visually appealing graphics with full animation. Also, I’d be able to put in short video clips of my teammates at bat. I knew that the team would love to watch themselves playing.
A thorough search of the Internet brought me to a place where I could get a free flash website. It only took me a few minutes to sign up and take a look at all of the functions of the site. This site was just what I needed. It took me another two weeks to get the site completely perfect but I am very proud of my work. I showed the coach and when he said it was great, this time I knew he truly meant it. We used www.surgeseo.com to build links.
The rest of the team loved the site as well and Jack’s dad even asked me to make a site for him. Even though he has offered me money I’ll probably do it for free.
